Throughout the course of the game design stream students create a variety of games; puzzles ; board games; and digital games.


2011-2012 - Game Production Class
In this class we simulate a complete game production project from beginning to end. Students choose, remake and release a classic arcade game to completion within 12 weeks.

2010-2011 - Digital Games

Bitsmith Games
was setup in the summer of 2011 by students Eoghan Harris, Basil Lim & Ralphy Croly. They successfully secured funding and were incubated in the NDRC. Their game KU is being built using Unity3D.

Magmasurge a fast paced escape’em game from Brian O Byrne and graduate Marco Castorina is a an Iphone/Android casual game developed using the corona SDK.

Pixelwolf Studios was setup towards the end of the masters by Alan Grace and Michael Piercy to promote and Co-Develop their two games (using corona). Manic Machines and The Imagination of Jamie Jones are scheduled to be released on the IPhone/Andriod by the summer of 2012

Dropzone is a Unity3D based ‘save em up’ game by game designer John Healy who now works for Jolt Games. Check out the latest build.
